Who We Are
Fitness. Fellowship. Faith. A free, peer-led workout movement for men — and a brotherhood that goes way beyond the workout.
The Mission
F3 stands for Fitness, Fellowship, and Faith. It's a nationwide network of free, peer-led workouts for men that started in Charlotte, NC in 2011 and has grown to hundreds of regions across the country.
Every workout — called a "beatdown" — is led by a PAX (participant) who volunteers to Q (lead) that day. There are no professional trainers, no membership fees, and no prerequisites. You show up, you work hard, you leave better.
But F3 is more than fitness. The fellowship and faith components mean the brotherhood extends well beyond the workout — into life, family, community, and purpose.
How It Works
Always has been, always will be. No dues, no fees, no equipment required.
Any man can post at any workout, any time. No invitation needed.
Rain, cold, heat — we post regardless. The elements are part of it.
Every workout is led by a PAX who volunteers to Q. Leadership rotates. Everyone leads eventually.
Every beatdown closes with a Circle of Trust — a brief moment for announcements, prayer, or reflection.
The Druid City
F3 Tuscaloosa is part of the F3 Nation family, bringing the mission of male community leadership development to the Druid City and surrounding areas.
We post at multiple AOs (Areas of Operation) across Tuscaloosa throughout the week. Each AO has its own personality — some are bootcamp-style, some are run-focused, some are a mix. All of them are free and open to any man who shows up.
Our PAX come from all walks of life — coaches, teachers, business owners, students, fathers, and men still figuring it out. The only thing we have in common is we showed up.
Find a workout near you, show up, and introduce yourself. That's all it takes. We'll handle the rest.
